Study-Call offers a DDI number which can then be advertised as an Anonymity Line. When a student calls this number their phone number (CLI) is translated to an encrypted code which allows their identity to be hidden. This code is stored within the Study-Call Management System, which allows staff to report on the call and determine if there have been multiple calls from the same student, perhaps answered by multiple staff members over a period of time. Only under extreme circumstances and where appropriate representation is made by the school/police to Splicecom, will the code be decrypted back to its original CLI.
